DFWCPG was well represented at the recent “Dallas Start Up Week” event that brought together approximately 6,000 attendees over the course of 5 days. Kathy Guzman Galloway, kgalloway consulting, presented and facilitated a conversation about the intersection of “Retail Presence + Brand Purpose” and called on fellow DFWCPG Ambassadors and members that included; Adam Franks with 7-Eleven, Nik Hall with Vitafive and Braden Douglas with CREW Marketing. Sincere thanks to Kathy, Adam, Nik and Braden for their insights, expertise and time!

Local spice producer, Poks Spices has recently collaborated with NYC spice importer Burlap & Barrel to create their new Jollof Rice Blend. Now kitchens everywhere can enjoy this traditional West African flavor. Poks founder Abena Foli comes from a farming family so food is truly in her blood. Check out her complete lineup of unique West African spices.

Applications for the 2023 FC Dallas Homegrown Partner Program are now open, the Frisco-based soccer club announced today. The program invites DFW-based minority-owned businesses to apply for a customized FC Dallas corporate partnership package for the 2023 MLS season and the opportunity to showcase products at FC Dallas soccer games. The Santander Food Business Accelerator Program, in partnership with Impact Ventures, has chosen their fall cohort including two DFWCPG members: Elijah Ruiz of Vida Bowls andAndrea Ridout of White Rock Granola. Congrats!
